1. What UPIPE is and isn’t
UPIPE is not a bank, payment aggregator, payment gateway, or payment system operator. It does not process, hold, route, or settle any money. It only constructs UPI deep links and renders them as QR codes locally in your browser.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Indian bank account or UPI ID to make meaningful use of this service.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use UPIPE lawfully. Don’t use it to collect payments under false pretenses, to impersonate another person or business, or to facilitate any activity that is illegal in India.
4. Your responsibility as payer / payee
Always verify the payee name shown in your UPI app before sending money. UPIPE has no way to confirm that a generated link or QR is being used by the legitimate owner of the underlying bank account or UPI ID.
5. App-level rejections
UPI apps run independent fraud checks. They may refuse or warn on payments made through QRs or links generated by any third-party tool, including this one. We have no control over those checks.
6. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of UPIPE is nil. We are not liable for any loss of money, profit, data, goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss.
8. Third-party links
UPIPE links out to third-party sites (NPCI, payment service providers, contact forms). We are not responsible for their content or terms.
9. Disputes & grievances
For payment-related disputes, contact your bank first, then NPCI’s dispute redressal mechanism. For complaints about UPIPE itself, use the contact form.
10. Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Surat, Gujarat.
11. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of UPIPE after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
